HONEOYE FALLS, N.Y. – A clambake event to support the Golisano Children’s Hospital took place on Saturday at the Fireman’s Training Grounds in Honeoye Falls.
The family-friendly event featured live music and all-you-can-eat food, and beverages. Organizers said it was all to make a difference for the children in the community.
“I had my first open heart at eight and a half months old, and since the day I was born and I got transferred to Golisano Children’s Hospital, they were right beside my mom and my dad through their struggles because they didn’t know what was going on,” said a participant.
To date, organizers said they have donated more than $371,000 to the children’s hospital.
