ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A man will spend 20 years behind bars for shooting a teenager to death on Nassau Street in Rochester last summer.
Jymere Feliciano shot 17-year-old Jaden Scott on July 26, 2024. Scott died in the hospital two days later.
Investigators found that Scott and Feliciano walked passed each other on Nassau Street, both armed, and Feliciano pulled out his illegally possessed firearm and shot Scott.
Feliciano was later arrested in Georgia and pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in March. Along with his 20 year sentence, he will also serve five years of post-release supervision.
