The red-hot Blue Jays arrive at the City of Brotherly Love after completing a three-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals. Toronto tops the AL with 21 comeback wins this season.
Gausman (5-4, 3.87 ERA) will make his 14th start of the season. He’s coming off consecutive no-decisions on the mound.
The 34-year-old allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts against the Minnesota Twins last Saturday. He took a no-hitter into the fourth inning when things went sideways, putting five consecutive hitters on base with two singles, two walks and a hit-by-pitch.
