Rita Wilson sent a direct message to Taylor Swift after the pop superstar bought back the masters of her first six albums—and the country singer didn't mince words with her bold declaration.
On Thursday, June 12, Wilson, 68, took to Instagram to laud comments made by Swift in her 2020 documentary Miss Americana while tying it into her own career news.

Earlier in June, the wife of Tom Hanks released a new song "W.O.W. (Wild Ol’ Woman)." Swift, meanwhile, now owns her entire music catalog.
"Taylor Swift exemplifies what W.O.W. means!" Wilson captioned her update. "She is a true inspiration to women young and old!"
She then addressed Swift directly, concluding, "@taylorswift, congratulations on all of your achievements, you are W.O.W.!"

In the accompanying video, Wilson included clips from Swift in Miss Americana.
“I’m trying to be as educated as possible on how to respect people, on how to deprogram the misogyny in my own brain," Swift explained. "Toss it out, reject it, and resist it. Like, there is no such thing as a slut. There is no such thing as a bitch. There is no such thing as someone who’s bossy, there’s just a boss."
The "Shake It Off" singer cheekily added, "Like, 'Sorry, was I loud? In my own house that I bought with the songs that I wrote about my own life?'"

At the end, Wilson included photos of Travis Kelce's girlfriend, 35, posing with her albums.
In the comments, Wilson's followers joined her in lauding Swift's accomplishments.
