A fiery three-car crash shut down all lanes of a busy freeway near the City of Industry and El Monte as Thursday morning’s commute was underway.
The crash was reported at 7:54 a.m. Thursday on the northbound 605 Freeway at Valley Boulevard.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the wreck, but it was unclear if anyone was treated or transported to a hospital.
Two lanes were reopened around 8:30 a.m., but the SigAlert remained in effect, and traffic was backed up to Whittier Boulevard in the Whittier area.
