Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident involving the Air India Ahmedabad–London flight.
In a heartfelt message, he extended his solidarity to all those affected by the unfortunate event.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident involving the Air India Ahmedabad–London flight. My thoughts and prayers are with all the passengers, crew members, and their families during this difficult time. I earnestly pray to Lord Shri Jagannath for the safety and swift recovery of everyone affected”, CM Majhi stated.
He further said that Odisha stands united in solidarity with the people of Gujarat and all those impacted by this unfortunate event.
A London-bound Air India plane carrying 242 passengers and crew crashed into a residential area (Meghani nagar) moments after taking off at 1:38 p.m. from the Ahmedabad airport this afternoon, as per reports.
