Hit and Run Theater will present five nights of Improv Comedy Workshops at the Community Center of Mendocino at 998 School St. on Tuesdays July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees should be ready for evenings full of joyful improv and theater games.
Hit and Run players Janet Atherton, Mindy Ballentine, Sara Bulakowski, Joel Ginsberg, Ken Krauss, Jill Lemos, Doug Nunn, Kathy O’Grady, and Katan Sosnovec will present a variety of games and exercises meant to give participants a chance to experience the joy of improvisational theater.
The first four evenings will concentrate on teaching the basics of improv fun. On evening number five, Tuesday, July 29 there will be an informal show starring the workshop players. Each workshop will cost $20. Show night, Tuesday, July 29 we will ask audience members to pay $10 to see their friends perform.
