The major European indices are closing the day mostly lower. The exception is the UKs FTSE 100 which rose 0.23%.

The EURUSD is stretching to new highs as European/London traders look to exit for the day. The price just reached 1.14894, narrowly surpassing the earlier high at 1.14886. The high price from last week extended to 1.14944.
Looking at the daily chart, the price is back within a swing area going back to 2021/2022 between 1.1482 and 1.15158. The high price reached in April extended beyond that area to 1.15726, but could not sustain the momentum.. A move back above that swing area would aspire toward the April high at 1.15726.
