Rodgers, 41, finally ended months of speculation by agreeing to join the Steelers.

He signed a one-year deal last Friday worth $13.6 million.

And the four-time MVP is in the building for practice this week ahead of the 2025 season.

His teammate Zach Frazier revealed that he spoke to the room before getting on the field.

Rodgers assured his squad he was “all in” with his new team.

The quarterback is playing for his third NFL franchise.

He spent two decades with the Green Bay Packers and won the Super Bowl in 2010.

But the 41-year-old had two disastrous years with the New York Jets.

He was released in March and heavily linked with the Steelers throughout the spring.

But Rodgers waited until June before eventually deciding on his future.

He spoke for the first time as a Pittsburgh Steelers player Tuesday.

And Rodgers said head coach Mike Tomlin was a key factor in his decision.

I don’t need it for my ego,” Rodgers said.

“I don’t need it to keep playing.

“A lot of decisions that I’ve made over my career and life from strictly the ego, even if they turn out well, are always unfulfilling.

“But the decisions made from the soul are usually pretty fulfilling.

“This was a decision that was best for my soul.

“I felt like being here with coach Mike Tomlin and the guys that got here, and the opportunity here was the best for me and I’m excited to be here.

“There were conversations with other organizations, for sure.

“But again, the rapport that fell in between me and Mike made it to where, as I was going through my personal stuff, there wasn’t any other option for me.

“It was here or not play.”
