ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two teens are accused of firing shots in the 19th Ward neighborhood and leading Rochester Police officers on a chase.
It all started when officers responded to gunfire on Genesee Street and Arnett Boulevard on Tuesday night. No one has hit.
According to RPD, officers spotted two teens leaving the scene in a car, which refused to pull over. That led to a chase across the city, which ended when the suspect’s car crashed into another car at Fromm Place and Bay Street. RPD says the suspect’s car ran a stop sign.
Officers arrested the suspects after a foot chase. Neither teen was injured in the crash, but the driver of the other car was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We’re working to learn what charges the teens will face.
