ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Partly to mostly sunny skies for Tuesday with a bit of a breeze from the west bringing in drier weather and comfortable temperatures in the low 70s. Grass pollen is running on the high side, so allergy sufferers take note of that. Mainly clear skies tonight will allow us to check out the full moon. For the month of June, the full moon nickname is the strawberry moon. Named for the harvest time of the berries, not that it will look red in the sky. Having said that, tonight’s moon will be lower in the sky than usual and add in some haze from the wildfire smoke and it may in fact take on a bit of a reddish look in the sky.
An absolute beauty on the way for Wednesday with lots of sunshine and warmer weather. Temps tomorrow will make a run towards 80 degrees with dry conditions. Fair for Thursday and Friday with just a small shower threat to end the week. Looking ahead to the weekend some showers may arrive so stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest updates on Saturday and the Father’s Day Sunday forecast.
