Legendary pop singer Cyndi Lauper took a moment on June 9 to pay tribute to her hit song "Time After Time," which remains very popular even 40 years after it was released.
Lauper shared a clip from her ongoing farewell tour on Instagram as she sang the track with her fans, writing, "'Time After Time' went to #1 on this day in 1984. This is such a special moment during my farewell tour show. I hope you get to experience it in person this summer. ✨✨✨."

In the video, Lauper sang the chorus of her song as the audience sang along with her, with many holding up lights. Even one of the people working on the stage tech could be seen singing along in his seat.
