TERRY Bradshaw made a surprise appearance on Fox’s sporting coverage this weekend.
Bradshaw, 76, was part of the studio team with his NFL colleague Charissa Thompson.
And the Pittsburgh Steelers icon left fans divided with his appearance.
The four-time Super Bowl champion joined Fox’s coverage of the Belmont Stakes.
Thompson was host for the network’s coverage live coverage from Saratoga in New York.
Saturday’s running was the 157th in the race’s storied history.
But Bradshaw made a big error during a segment for Fox.
He said, “On behalf Fox Sports and the millions of thoroughbred racing fans around the world, welcome to the 137th running of the Belmont Stakes.”
His error was picked up by viewers tuning in for the big race.
One said, “I appreciate someone other than NBC having coverage of a big horse race, but Fox really needs to work on production.
“The crowd mic is potted astronomically high, and Terry Bradshaw has no place on the broadcast.
“137th running of the Belmont? It’s the 157th.”
Another commented, “Terry Bradshaw call it the 137th running during his riders up speech off by 20 years there Terry.”
While a third wrote, “Terry Bradshaw is a legend, but on the set with 32 mins before the third jewel of the Triple Crown is a choice.”
And a fourth posted, “Fox Sports broadcast of the Belmont is a joke with Terry Bradshaw.”
Bradshaw will once again be part of Fox’s coverage of the NFL in 2025.
He stars on Fox NFL Sunday alongside Michael Strahan at 12 pm ET.
