(KRON) -- Dry conditions and temperatures near seasonal averages continue. There will be a slight cooling trend at the end of next week.
Sunday
It is a cloudy morning for all but the highest elevations and the most interior valleys in the East Bay. The marine layer is around 1500 feet deep. Satellite imagery shows stratus clouds blanketing the coast and extending into the inland valleys. Morning lows are in the lower to middle 50s for the lower elevations, up to the lower 60s in the higher elevations. Today will be a lot like yesterday, with clearing skies this afternoon away from the immediate coast, robust onshore breezes this afternoon and evening, and seasonably warm highs in the upper 70s to the middle 80s inland, and cool coastal highs in the upper 50s to the middle 60s.
Monday through Saturday
The weather remains stable through the middle of the week, even though there will be a slight compression in the marine layer. A slight cooling trend will kick in across the Bay Area toward the end of the week. Inland high temperatures will drop slightly below the seasonal averages, around the middle 70s to the lower 80s, with coastal temperatures remaining stable in the upper 50s to middle 60s.
As always, check back with KRON4 for the latest updates.
