Texas A&M all but confirmed a big piece will be joining its cast of wideouts for the 2026 season. During an official visit to College Station, 4-star phenom Aaron Gregory reaffirmed his pledge to the Aggies.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound wide receiver announced on his social media account on Saturday afternoon that his recruitment is officially shut down. He plans to begin his college career at Texas A&M in 2026. Gregory had an official visit to Texas scheduled for next weekend, but that trip is now off.
“Get onboard or get rolled over,” wrote Gregory in his social media post on Saturday.

— Aaron Gregory (@AaronGregory_07) June 7, 2025Gregory initially committed to Texas A&M last October. He is a huge score for Texas A&M, not only because of his sheer talent, but also because Gregory is a Douglasville, Ga., product. The Aggies were able to pry Gregory from the clutches of fellow SEC teams, headlined, of course, by Georgia. Gregory was also considering LSU, as well as Tennessee and defending national champion Ohio State.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Gregory is the 66th-ranked prospect in the Class of 2026, the eighth-ranked wide receiver in the class, and the seventh-ranked recruit from the state of Georgia.
Gregory also tweeted a post on his social media with the headline: “Why Texas A&M? Why not?”
“I chose the right program that I see fits me and my playing style the best!” wrote Gregory.
Here is Gregory’s post, which also gives praise to Aggies head coach Mike Elko:
