From her days as the lead guitarist for the groundbreaking all-female '70s rock band The Runaways to her successful solo career — which spawned such chart-topping '80s hits as "Kiss Me Deadly" and the Ozzy Osbourne duet "Close My Eyes Forever" — Lita Ford has been living the life of a hard rock icon for decades...and as a recent video proved, she's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
In a video shared to TikTok this week, Ford, 66, wore a red leather jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and black platform boots as she stunned fans with a live performance of the classic Runaways hit, "Cherry Bomb," at last month's M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland.

Of course, Ford is no stranger to rock star style. In an interview with Metal Edge, she opened about the iconic jeans she wore in the music video for "Kiss Me Deadly," revealing that her mother didn't approve of the look.
"I mean, my mother hated those jeans because she was a European woman who had gone through a lot in the war and she didn’t like anything that was torn, or anything that was old or faded. She wanted everything to look new, especially on her daughter," Ford explained, going on to recall her mother's reaction to the distressed denim.
"I was in the front yard of her house. And she yelled at me through the door, and she said in a very thick Italian accent, 'Lita! Get in the house,'" Ford said. "And I'm looking around, I'm like, why? What happened? And she said, 'I don't want the neighbors to see you in those jeans.' And I thought, Well, Mom, they're already on MTV."
