"I told my son, Jimmy, I wanted to do a Hank tribute, and he had already written this song for me to feature my yodel, just like I do on Hank songs," Bill said in a statement. "It was a perfect fit!"

Bill Nash is probably the most famous singer/songwriter you might not have heard of. He was the first person to record Kris Kristofferson's classic song "For the Good Times." He and wife Kim also wrote Reba McEntire's hit "They Asked About You," Diamond Rio's "In God We Still Trust," and the song "You Can't Say Love Enough," which was recorded by Dolly Parton, Wayne Newton, Larry Gatlin and 16 other stars for the Juvenile Diabetes Association in 2009. As a solo songwriter, Nash also wrote "Hold Me 'til The Last Waltz Is Over" and "I Can't Help It If You're Always On My Mind' for Eddy Arnold.

Hank Williams Sr. tragically died in 1953 at the age of just 29. The official cause of death at the time was listed as a heart attack, though biographer Colin Escott wrote in his biography of Williams that the heart failure was caused by a combination of alcohol, morphine and chloral hydrate that Williams consumed that night.
