LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) – The Leander Police Department said it needed help identifying “juveniles” who threw frozen water bottles at moving vehicles, leading to injuries.
On the nights of May 29 and May 30, Leander Police said several “juveniles” reportedly threw frozen water bottles from a white 2014 Dodge Durango near San Gabriel Parkway and CR 270 and from the truck beds of a two pickup trucks, one white and the other a dark color, along North Bagdad Road.
“This incident caused damage to numerous windshields, headlights, and mirrors,” LPD said in a Facebook post. “Two victims suffered injuries to their faces because of the incident,” the post continued.
