On the Wednesday, June 4 episode of the Today show, the co-anchor, who stepped into Hoda Kotb's spot following her exit, found himself at the center of some lighthearted ribbing from his colleagues after displaying visible excitement over actressHalle Berry’s guest appearance.
The longtime movie star was tapped to cohost the Today with Jenna & Friends segment, and Melvin’s enthusiastic reaction did not go unnoticed by fellow anchors Al Roker, Jenna Bush Hager, and Dylan Dreyer.
