The Bangles, the hit ‘80s band featuring Susanna Hoffs and sisters Debbi and Vicki Peterson, haven’t performed together since 2019.
Yet on Tuesday, June 3, at a small club in Los Angeles the Peterson sisters will grace the same stage, but it’s unknown if they’ll perform together. (The Peterson sisters, without Hoffs, did perform together at a benefit concert in January).

The Minus 5 headlines the show June 3 at Zebulon in Los Angeles. The band, led by Young Fresh Fellows frontmanScott McCaughey, features former R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, drummer Linda Pitmon of the Baseball Project and Filthy Friends, Kurt Bloch of the Fastbacks and relatively new recruit Debbi Peterson of the Bangles on backing vocals. The band just released a new album, Oar On, Penelope!
Opening the show is Vicki Peterson and her husband John Cowsill of the famed family band the Cowsills, which served as the inspiration for the ‘70s TV series The Partridge Family.
Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill released their debut album together, Long After the Fire, in April. The album features songs written by John’s late brothers Barry and Bill Cowsill.

When performing live Vicki has been known to dip into the Bangles catalog. When she and Cowsill played Zebulon back in November 2024, opening for the dB’s, she performed versions of the Bangles hits “Manic Monday,” written by Prince, as well as “Walk Like an Egyptian.” For the latter song, she and Cowsill handed out kazoos to the audience members to play along.

The Peterson sisters’ bandmate, Susanna Hoffs, recently headlined the Beach Life Festival.
