On X, fans reacted to the concert cancellation mostly with kindness and understanding.

One wrote, "Hope you’re feeling better soon Rod."

Another shared, "Get well soon Take care."

Meanwhile, someone else echoed, "Hope you feel better soon, Sir Rod!"

In May, the Tonight's The Night (Gonna Be Alright)" singer was put on vocal rest after a show at Milan's Unipol Forum. Stewart was spotted wearing a sign around his neck that read "Sorry. Cannot talk. Having vocal rest."

However, the British rocker soon returned to the stage on May 13 at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. He was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26.

It's unclear whether Stewart's recent vocal break had anything to do with his Vegas concert cancellation on Sunday. Parade reached out to Stewart's rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

In 2000, Stewart was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent a surgery to remove a tumor. He was also diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016. Additionally, the "Maggie May" singer was forced to cancel shows in 2024 after testing positive for COVID-19.

Stewart will continue his One Last Time 2025 Tour on June 14 in Lake Tahoe, Nev., and is set to perform at Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage on June 29—his first appearance at the festival since 2002.
