For the first time in 25 years, the Indiana Pacers are NBA Finals-bound.
They punched their ticket to the fourth and final round courtesy of a 125-108 win over the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night.
Now the Pacers prepare to face the Oklahoma City Thunder, who advanced past the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games.
It’ll be the Pacers’ first Finals appearance since 2000 when Reggie Miller and Co. fell to the Los Angeles Lakers — for their first of three consecutive titles — in six games.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals is set for Thursday, June 5, in Oklahoma City.
