(KRON) - A driver crashed into a car while attempting to evade a DUI checkpoint, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, the CHP San Francisco division was conducting a DUI and driver's license checkpoint on Harrison Street between Sixth and Seventh streets.
An officer attempted to make contact with a Honda sedan that stopped at the checkpoint, but the driver fled on Harrison Street. At the intersection of Harrison and Eleventh streets, the Honda crashed into a Ford sedan. CHP officers did not pursue the Honda.

The passenger of the Ford, according to CHP, suffered minor injuries.
