Austin’s American Grill in Greeley hopes to reopen Thursday after a gas leak temporarily closed the restaurant earlier this week.
A person who answered the restaurant’s phone confirmed the closure just after 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, but declined to give their name or their position with the restaurant, located at 1100 8th Ave., suite 100. The employee didn’t further elaborate on the nature of the leak, or when Austin’s first closed.
It is not clear whether the gas leak is affecting The Shelby Apartments above the restaurant.

The restaurant is owned by Fort Collins-based Hot Corner Concepts, which also operates two Fort Collins Austin’s locations, as well as Comet Chicken, Big Al’s Burgers and the Moot House.
