ROCHESTER, N.Y.- It was a slow process, but finally Memorial Day brought Western New York some near perfect weather. The combination of mild temperatures, bright sunshine, low humidity, and light winds provided all the necessary ingredients to kick-off the unofficial start of the summer season.
A high-pressure system will continue to bring pleasant conditions for Tuesday. The skies may not be a bright as high clouds begin to arrive, but hazy sunshine and warm temperatures will still make for a nice afternoon. You can expect a high temperature in the low 70s, but it will be cooler near Lake Ontario.
We then turn our attention to a low-pressure system which will be tracking across the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys by mid-week. This will likely produce some showers and maybe some thunder at times for Thursday through Friday. At this point, no severe weather is expected so the News10NBC Threat Tracker will remain green – for now.
