(KRON) – The Bay Area Rapid Transit has announced on its social media that the Green Line’s service has been restored.
The Green Line runs from Berryessa to Daly City stations.
This restoration comes after an electrical fire caused flames at the San Leandro BART station on Tuesday. Limited BART service was restored Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. with trains running from Berryessa and Bay Fair to Dublin/Pleasanton stations.
KRON4 takes the evening commute on BARTGreen Line’s return is ahead of BART’s projected date. Last Thursday, BART said the service will commence on Tuesday, May 27.
In the month of March, BART had two outages. The first occurred on May 9, when BART experienced a system-wide shutdown right in the midst of the Friday morning commute.
