And while the movie and TV series were polar opposites in terms of subject matter, they did have one thing in common: lovable actor Bronson Pinchot.
His roles as Serge in Beverly Hills Cop and Balki Bartokomous on Perfect Strangers led him to super stardom, and everyone fell in love with his comedic charm.
Now 66 years old, Pinchot recently appeared on the Still Here Hollywood podcast, and he recalled how starring as Serge in Beverly Hills Cop led to him being a "same day sensation." At first glance, you might not realize this is the same actor!
