Where does time go? That’s what Beach Boys singer Mike Loveimplied in a recent Instagram post announcing that John Stamos will join the Beach Boys on the band’s upcoming The Sounds of Summer Tour.
It’s been nearly 40 years since Stamos first performed with the band on July 4, 1985, at the Washington Monument to a crowd of close to a million people.

Fans reacted to the post and the 1970 song, “Forever,” which Love chose to soundtrack the post.
“My favourite song, the vocals, the lyrics, the music, perfect❣️ I do have alot of Beach Boy albums. Beautiful, ? happy tears of remembrance of all these years. Thank you ❣️ ?,” wrote one fan.
“This was my wedding song . ?,” added another.
Another fan focused on the milestone anniversary coming up for Stamos and the Beach Boys.
