Oakland police are investigating the death of a man, 34, who was found shot on the 1400 block of 100th Avenue by officers at 10:43 p.m. Saturday night, authorities said.
Authorities transported the man to a local hospital, where doctors declared him deceased, which marks the third homicide in the past four days in Oakland, according to authorities.
Police have not released the name of the victim and have not identified a motive for the killing so far in their investigation, authorities said. Police have not released any suspect information.
The man’s death marks the 34th homicide investigated by the Oakland Police Department this year.
