BURNET, Texas (KXAN) — The graduation ceremony at Burnet High School Thursday evening has been moved indoors due to the risk of severe weather in the area.
In a post on the school's Facebook page, administrators said the ceremony would move to the school's gymnasium "for the safety of our graduates, staff and guests."
Doors will open at 7:45 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at 8:30 p.m.
The school said each graduate was provided five rain tickets for guest seating in the gymnasium. Overflow seating is also available in the cafeteria, where a livestream of the ceremony will be available. Additional overflow seating is available in the auditorium.
