SACRAMENTO – Multiple vehicles burned in a grass fire that threatened multiple structures in south Sacramento on Sunday afternoon, the Sacramento Fire Department said.
Crews responded to 47th Avenue near Steiner Drive around 2:15 p.m. for a grass fire.
At least two destroyed vehicles were seen in the parking lot at Sun Valley Apartments.
By about 3:30 p.m., crews said they were in the mop-up phase. It's unknown if any structures were damaged.
