On Sunday, May 18, the former Counting On star and his wife took to Instagram with a joint post announcing the birth of their third child.

"There’s absolutely nothing like meeting and falling in love with a new baby!! ?," they captioned the update. "We are overjoyed to welcome to our family Emery “Emy” Jane Duggar."
In the featured image, the newborn baby girl lay on her tummy on a white blanket while wearing a white bodysuit and headband. A second picture showed the tiny infant sucking her thumb.
