DENVER (KDVR) -- The air traffic control center that covers Denver International Airport briefly lost communications on Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed with FOX31.
The Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center, which is in Longmont, "experienced a loss of communications for approximately 90 seconds" Monday afternoon at about 1:50 p.m., the FAA said in a statement.
The FAA said controllers used another frequency to relay instructions to pilots.
"Aircraft remained safely separated and there were no impacts to operations," the FAA said.
