The Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce will host a regional competition for the National Civics Bee.
Local middle school students will compete from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Aims Community College, 130 Southgate Drive, Windsor. Competitors will test their civics knowledge in a live quiz event and by answering questions from judges, according to a chamber news release.
Finalists will move on to the state-level competition, hosted by the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, May 30 in Denver, the release said. The sole state champion will advance to a National Civics Bee competition for a chance at the national title in Washington, D.C.
The Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce will partner with the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation for the regional Windsor competition.
