The Boston Celtics star underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the team announced.
He suffered the injury in Boston’s Game 4 loss to the New York Knicks on Monday night.
There is currently no timetable for his return but he is expected to make a full recovery.
