American nu metal band Mudvayne will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its debut album “L.D. 50” with a 30-city tour that includes a Sept. 17 concert at the Covelli Centre.
“L.D. 50” was certified gold for sales of more than 500,000 copies and the songs “Dig” and “Death Blooms” both made the top 40 on Billboard’s mainstream rock chart.
Mudvayne’s first three albums were certified gold. The band’s last album was released in 2009, but after a decade-long hiatus, the group resumed touring in 2021.
They will be joined by Static-X, which is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its “Wisconsin Death Trip” release, and Vended.
Tickets range from $39.50 to $79.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the arena’s Southwoods Health box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m Thursday with the password: HAPPY.
