A PROMISING tennis star has died after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
High school senior Braun Levi, 18, was walking with a pal in the early hours of Sunday morning when he was struck.
Cops arrested Jenia Belt, 33, and she has been accused of driving under the influence.
Officers found a body lying in the street following the horror crash.
Levi died just weeks before he was set to graduate high school and months after his family lost their home in the wildfires that ravaged the Pacific Palisades region, as reported by The Los Angeles Times.
Levi played tennis for the Loyola High School Athletics team and had just won his 4th league championship.
And, he was set to study at the University of Virginia from the fall.
“Levi was a true leader throughout our campus,” a post on the athletics team’s Instagram page said.
“He was a true man for and with others, and we will miss him dearly.”
Levi’s personality was described as lovable and he had an infectious smile.
