LANCASTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Walmart on Highway 9 in Lancaster is closed due to a fire on Sunday afternoon, according to the Lancaster Police Department.
Officials told Queen City News there was a fire inside the store around 4:35 p.m.

Lancaster Walmart representatives said the store is closed until further notice. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time. We will provide an update as soon as possible," the store posted to its Facebook page.
It is unclear what led to the fire or if anyone was injured. The police department said it is investigating the incident with the Lancaster Fire Department and SLED.
