Rajasthan Royals player Kunal Singh Rathore didn't have the kind of start to his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 that he would have wanted. The keeper-batter got injured in the ongoing game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Kunal Singh Rathore replaced Nitish Rana in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game against Kolkata Knight Riders. In an attempt to save the runs, he ended up hurting himself and looked in pain.
On the 3rd ball of the 6th over, Akash Madhwal bowled a fullish delivery, to which Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz mistimed the drive. The ball landed in front of Kunal Singh Rathore. As he attempted to stop it, he hurt himself.
Kunal Singh Rathore hurt his hand badly and was seen walking off the field. The Rajasthan Royals batter split his webbing and was taken off the field. There is no clarity if he will be there to bat or not, but the franchise management would be hoping that he gets fine soon.
