Taking to Instagram to share her unfiltered thoughts on the photo, the Little House on the Prairie actress wrote, "I'm Jewish and even I find this offensive."
"This is from @whitehouse ‘s verified account created by @potus," she continued, while asking, "Is there anyone out there who would like to defend this?"
"This is tasteless, blasphemous, cruel mockery," Gilbert, 60, further lamented. "Created by an administration full of Shameful, despicable, monsters."
Her post concluded with the hashtag "#toofar" as well as several face palm emojis: "??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️"
"Totally agree, Melissa! It’s very offensive," one of the actress' fans wrote in the comments on Instagram, while other followers chimed in to call Trump's post "so disrespectful," "disgusting" and "appalling."
