A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Canoga Park early Friday morning, May 2, with the driver fleeing, police said.
At around 1:15 a.m., a vehicle traveling eastbound on the 20900 block of Sherman Way hit the man, who was crossing the street mid-block, said Officer Rosario Cervantes, a Los Angeles spokesperson.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and pronounced the man dead, Cervantes said.
