RT journalist Chay Bowes was detained as he arrived in Romania to cover the upcoming presidential election. Police entered the plane he was in and escorted him away.
According to Bowes, the police were specifically looking for him when he arrived. “They only wanted me. Came onto [the] plane. Asked who is Chay Bowes and 6 of them took me from [the] plane,” the reporter said.
The officers told Bowes their “superiors” wanted to interview him and asked him what he was doing in Romania.
