COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Three people are dead after what police said is an apparent double murder, suicide that occurred in the far east side of the city.
According to Columbus police, one woman and two men were found dead at the Countryview East Apartment complex on Esquire Drive, off of Refugee Road in the Abby Trails neighborhood.

The woman and one man were found outside, and another man was found inside the residence. Witnesses told police it was a man who shot the woman outside before turning the gun on himself.
CPD Homicide detectives are treating the scene as a double murder suicide, though have not uncovered the connection between all three victims.
