SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – Officers shot and killed an armed 60-year-old man Monday in South San Francisco, police said.

After officers arrived, the man began shooting at them and into an occupied home, police said.
Officers fired their weapons at the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No officers were injured.
The man, who was not identified Monday, had a handgun and shotgun, police said.
