Bhubaneswar: Hundreds of candidates protested at the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) office on Monday, demanding the cancellation of the Excise Sub-Inspector and Traffic Sub-Inspector recruitment exams held on Sunday.
The aspirants alleged that numerous questions were out of the prescribed syllabus, compromising the exam’s integrity and causing confusion.
A delegation sought to meet the OSSC Chairman to submit a memorandum but was unable to do so, leaving candidates frustrated and claiming mental harassment due to the flawed process, as per reports.
Amid rising tensions, the state government has decided to take tough measures against those responsible and committed to a detailed investigation.
