CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person has passed away after another crash Monday morning, according to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 7 a.m. on April 28, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Equipment Drive near West Sugar Creek Road and Interstate 85.
First responders reportedly arrived to find the person dead. All lanes of Equipment Drive are closed, and the public is asked to avoid the area.
Authorities have not said what led up to the crash or if any charges are expected.
This crash happened just hours after another fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Old Statesville Road near West W.T. Harris Boulevard.
