Kevin Costner's eldest child, Annie Cox, posted a life update to Instagram in honor of turning 41 on April 15. In the post, she gets candid about battling some "mid-life demons" a year ago when she turned 40 because she wasn't feeling like the best version of herself.
"Last year when I turned 40 I decided to go to Paris. I had never been. It felt a little wrong in the moment actually. I wasn’t feeling my best, or very confident after having taken a couple years off to take care of our kids. I was, in retrospect, battling some mid-life demons, but I knew I needed something," Cox wrote on the post.

However, a year later, Cox says that her trip gave her "the spark" to reignite her life and now it feels like everything has "burst wide open" for her.
"I’m thankful I trusted my gut and ‘took the trip’ because it was absolutely the spark to remind me who I was and am. I jumped into work as soon as I got back and this last year just burst wide open for me. Everything unfolded as it should have," Cox shared.
Now that she's 41, Cox says that she's "more confident than ever that life is unfolding as it’s meant to."
According to her Instagram, Cox is a real estate agent in the Ojai/Santa Barbara area. She has been married to Dr. Danny Cox since July 2016. They welcomed son Vincent in April 2018 and daughter Vida in January 2020.

In the series of photos on the post, Cox showed off the tattoo she got in Paris, which simply reads "love, Mom." The tattoo is in cursive, so it could be the actual handwriting of her mother, Cindy Silva Costner.
Cindy married Kevin Costner in 1978, and they share three children — Annie, 41, Lily, 38, and Joe, 37. Cindy and Kevin divorced in 1994, but sources told The Daily Mail in March 2025 that they remained friends and Costner has been leaning on his ex-wife amid his very public divorce from Christine Baumgartner.
"Kevin and Cindy have stayed close friends and she has been guiding him in recent months over his heartbreak from Christine as she is a wise woman," said the source.
