It's hard to believe that today, April 19, 2025, marks the 30-year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing incident. Many of us will never forget where we were that day in 1995 when the terrorist attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City took place, leaving 168 people dead and 800 more injured.
If that day weren't tragic enough, those among the dead included 19 young children, who were in the day care facility in the building when the bombing occurred.
Little House on the Prairie star, Melissa Gilbert, just made a touching tribute to two of the children who were lost that fateful day. Here's the post she shared on Instagram.

Gilbert's tribute tugs at the heartstrings for her followers, some of whom echoed her sadness.
One person said, "Precious angels - may they rest in eternal peace. My condolences all of you - truly heartbreaking ♥️?"
Another follower added, "It still breaks my heart. My boys were young then. I can't imagine the agony those families went through."
