COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A new partnership is forming, intending to strengthen both patient care and business operations in Ohio’s rural healthcare landscape.
The initiative, known as the ‘Ohio High Value Network’, will bring together twenty-six rural hospitals to tackle challenges specific to smaller communities and less densely populated areas. This network is just the third of its kind in the U.S, with similar collaborations already happening in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Nate White, CEO of Cibolo Health, who’s helping lead the effort, and Adena Health CEO Jeff Graham say the network comes with major benefits like smoother coordination between hospitals and simplifying the day-to-day workload for healthcare teams.
