Reid signed with Alabama over Georgia, Florida State, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Mississippi State and others.
Reid was listed at 6-8 and 220 pounds on the Alabama roster. He played 24 games, making 3 starts. As a freshman, Reid averaged 14.1 points per game, with his season-high of 23 coming on Nov. 27 against Rutgers.
Reid averaged 6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in his debut season. He scored 12 points against Creighton on Dec. 14, his high for the season. Reid grabbed 7 rebounds, his 2024-25 high, on Dec. 4 at North Carolina.
